'Tis the Season
Christmas is coming to a road side stand of trees near you! For years I have noticed the trees along Capital of Texas Highway being decorated anonymously by those that had some "Extra" Holiday Cheer they wanted to share.
This week I was delighted to see the trend has captured the hearts of some Cedar Park Locals who have also adorned a small stand of Cedar Trees along FM 1431 near the intersection of Parmer, just west of the Home Depot Store.
For a "transplant" who grew up in a northern clime, we were used to snow and ice all winter long especially around the holidays. So, it used to seem a bit odd to me to have sunny skies and warm weather around this time of year. Cedar Park TX fans of Costco have Something to Smile About!
Cedar Park TX Residents who are Costco Fans certainly have something to smile about with the new opening of the the Costco Wholesale Store at 183A and FM-1431 (Whitestone Blvd).
The location is great and the ease of entry is much better than the the Austin Location on North Research Blvd. where big traffic jams were familiar to anyone who visited there, especially around the holidays or weekends.

IN-N-OUT Burger Checks into Local Cedar Park TX Marketplace
We took a few minutes today to visit the new Round Rock TX location of the In-N-Out Burger restaurant. We wanted to get a preview of what will soon be coming to Cedar Park, TX.
If the line of cars in the drive through lanes or people out the door are any indication, it will be a hit with the locals. This made me wonder, is it really this good or are the folks just interested in trying something "new"?
