New Wal-Mart Super Center Nearing Completion

On a recent drive by of the new Wal-Mart Super Center location at FM-1431 and Parmer Lane it appears that they are nearing completion.

The new center will comprise about 150,000 square feet of retail space and provide several new jobs for the area with plans to employ approximately 300 people.

Workers are shown here completing the underground and connection work for the installation of the new Traffic Signal at the Parmer Entrance which is in place to make ready for the additional traffic flow in and out of the new center. It won't be long now until the doors open for business.

The company plans to continue operations at the other Cedar Park Location which was their original store in the Cedar Park area at FM 1431 and US 183. With both operations in place, there no question they will remain as one of the largest sales tax generators for the city of Cedar Park.
