Cedar Park Restaurant Los Chilaquiles Delivers High Quality Service and Taste for Affordable Prices!
Last week I had the pleasure of visiting the Los Chilaquiles Restaurant in Cedar Park for a casual business meeting. It was so good when we were there, I wanted to share my thoughts and experience.
This is a Great Place for High Quality Delicious Food at a Reasonable Price! I have been here a few times before and continue to be impressed. The cheerful setting indoors is further characterized by Courteous, Smiling, and Always Friendly servers. They seated us and took our orders promptly and as one would hope, the food came out hot, fresh, and delicious!
Unlike so many other places, they also remained attentive to our needs throughout the meal. They were there to make sure we had what we needed, whether is was topping off our drinks and salsa or generally checking our satisfaction. As we were finishing our meal, they cleared the table, offered us coffee and/or desert, and delivered our tab all at a reasonable pace.
I really like the Lunch Specials which I find to be not only very satisfying but economical.
They have 10 Selections priced at only $5.95 not much more than you would pay for fast food these days and the food is much better! On our visit which was during a busy lunch hour, I ordered Chicken Enchiladas and Tortilla Soup.
The specials include a choice of Tortilla Soup or a Fresh Garden Salad and all meals are served with the traditional chips and salsa. (Caution salsa is very flavorful and addictive but may be a little spicy for some) While I have not had occasion to sample most of the dishes at Los Chilaquiles, my favorite so far has to be the Tortilla Soup. Garnished beautifully it is an aromatic delight of fresh vegetables and semi spicy broth satisfying but not too heavy.
The lunch size soup portion is a perfect partner to perk your appetite without getting you overfull and may have you coming back just for the soup!
Of the several dishes I have tried, each one seems to have been built and prepared lovingly with fabulous flavor. In my experience, every time I have been to Los Chilaquiles, it has been fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant and believe anyone looking for great food at reasonable prices would agree.
