Summer Camps Cedar Park

Summer vacation may mean a break from school, but it doesn't mean learning has to stop! Fun and education go hand-in-hand at these great summer camps around Cedar Park homes for sale.

  • Chef's Club Camp - Kitchen House, 1514 Dandridge Dr., Cedar Park, TX 78613
    Does your child have as much fun making food as eating it? Chef's Club Camp takes kids aged 9 and up through sessions highlighting progressively complex culinary techniques. Budding chefs learn how to make a roux, roast vegetables, and bake bread. Everything comes together on the last day with a Chopped-style competition. Chef's Club Camp takes place June 26 - 29 from 9 a.m. - noon. Cost is $310.

  • All-Star Sports Camp - Soccer Zone, 920 Old Mill Rd., Cedar Park, TX 78613
    Boredom isn't an option at Soccer Zone's All-Star Sports Camp. Participants sharpen physical skills and develop social skills through a wide range of activities, including basketball, ultimate Frisbee, obstacle courses, and arts and crafts. Campers can sign up for single or multiple days, as well as full- or half-day sessions. Fees for full-day camps include lunch from Chick-fil-A, Wing Stop, Raising Cane, and other popular local restaurants. Prices start at $70 for one day and $45 for a half-day.

    Crème de la Crème translates to "best of the best," which is the standard set for programs offered by this early learning center. Summer camp at Crème de la Crème features an impressive array of activities designed to promote teamwork, self-confidence, and academic development. Campers aged 5-12 take part in S.T.E.A.M. experiments, dance and theater, team sports, and other programs that cover a variety of interests.   • Code Your Own Robot in Minecraft - Code Ninjas, 3621 E. Whitestone Blvd., Suite 500, Cedar Park, TX 78613
    In today's high-tech world, coding skills can open the door to a number of a career paths. Code Your Own Robot in Minecraft combines hands-on programming with gaming for added interest. Campers aged 8 and up learn loops, functions, and other basic coding principles to create and control their own Minecraft robot. Sessions are scheduled for June 12 -16 from noon - 3 p.m. and July 17 - 21 from 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Camp fee is $300.

  • AcroTex Gymnastics - 2004 Sun Chase Blvd., Cedar Park, TX 78613
    Whether your child dreams of Olympic gold or just wants to perfect their cartwheels and backflips, they'll find what they're looking for at AcroTex Gymnastics. Each week, camps highlight a different theme, such as "Under the Big Top," where kids head for the heights on the trapeze and tightrope. Ages 3-12 can take part by the day or by the week. The first session runs during the week of May 30, while the last one is scheduled for the week of August 11. Camp fees are $50 per day or $225 per week.

  • Orpheus Academy of Music - 3109 Kenai Dr., Unit 10, Cedar Park, TX 78613
    Kids aged 4-18 can express their artistic creativity in summer camps at Orpheus Academy of Music. In addition to training sessions on guitar, violin, and piano, Orpheus offers camps spotlighting "Composing for Short Film," "Composition and Improvisation," and "Broadway Musicals."
