Music on Main is a spring and summer staple in the Round Rock area. These free outdoor concerts occur in the Prete Main Street Plaza on Wednesday nights. They last from approximately 7 pm until 9 pm, and all are welcome. You just bring your chair or blanket – perhaps with a picnic dinner or some snacks – then settle in and enjoy the music. Music on Main has some real legends on the schedule this spring, and our real estate agents can't wait. Here are some of the top performances we recommend attending. 

• Jess Lopez Y Los Funky Monkeys
  Jess Lopez Y Los Funky Monkeys will take the stage for a performance on May 10th. This is an award-winning band that you don't want to miss. They play their own unique blend of funk, R&B, and country music. 
  
  The lead singer of Los Funky Monkeys is incredible on both the piano and guitar. This will be two hours of phenomenal music, so make sure you plan on staying for the whole show. There will be finger painting and a few other fun activities for kids.
  
  
• Linda Gail Lewis
  Linda Gail Lewis is the key artist scheduled for the May 17th version of Music on Main. Born in Louisville, she later moved to Texas. Her passion for music began when she was just a teenager. Linda's music is best described as "high-octane rock-country." She'll probably play a few hits you'll recognize and some original tunes.

• Clyde
  If you're at all familiar with the local music scene in Round Rock, you've probably at least heard of Clyde. They play classic country music designed to get your foot tapping and your head bobbing. They're taking the stage at Music on Main on May 24th.
  
  Clyde's music has been referred to as Porch Stomp music. It's great for all ages and is sure to put you in a positive mood. Remember, parking is always free for Music on Main, but you'll want to arrive early for popular performers like this.
  
  
• Departure ATX
  If you're a fan of the band Journey, then you'll want to come to Music on Main on May 31st. This week Departure ATX will take the stage. They're a Journey cover band. In fact, they're one of the best-known Journey cover bands.
  
  Departure ATX has played a lot of big arena shows, and this is a unique opportunity to see them at a smaller outdoor venue. Will they play Don't Stop Believing? You'll have to be there to find out.
  
  
• Conjunto Los Pinkys
  The performer on June 7th will be Conjunto Los Pinkys, an Austin-based band that plays Texas-style Conjunto Music. They came together in 1992 and have been playing at clubs, flea markets, dance halls, and outdoor venues ever since.
